Please! Stop asking me about the release of the Tiger AV Skin! I tried to reach the dev. but he never answered to me.

***As you probably know, aMSN has a brand new website since christmas. This new website is a lot more complete in skins and plugins than this one. So, I will just post Beta and mac-related skins and plugins on this website.***

This small app allows you to control your aMSN status. Takes 0% to 5% of CPU, ideal if you don't have a powerful computer like me. You can download the source code too. Everything is free!

There's nothing new in the beta K, only bug corrections because we don't see germinator since a while. It is only a Beta J with less bugs and more stability.

If germ come back, we will see new features but until this moment, you have to use our beta k and update to CVS...

It is true that this will make confusion about project leadership. But there has been no or very little development on the mac beta by Germ because he is taking a well earned break. There is no doubt that Germinator is the project leader for Mac development, as he is the most experienced Tcl/Tk programmer to take up the role.

We decided to call the release beta k, so that less experienced users wouldn't be confused. We could have called it 'aMSN Beta J v.2' or 'aMSN Beta J CVS (1st November)' but this would have probably caused a stir about the naming scheme changing.

To be fair, the only reason that this was released was because there were some users who did not know how to update their version to the latest cvs. Neither tomhennigan or I pretend to have written code for this release. The only thing that has been updated is the cvs, and therefore there has been no mac specific development. aMSN Beta K is simply a more stable version of Beta J. Looking back aMSN Beta J wasn't a huge release either, just bug fixes, which is mainly what this release is.

We are sorry if we have caused offence by putting together this package, and branding it beta K, We only meant well.

Here's how!

1. Download the latest CVS version =» Download!
2. Open aMSN then, when logged out, press Apple + S to get the status log, then type
::config::setKey protocol 11
That's it! Enjoy!

I've uploaded all the skins files to my server and you can download them from the Skins & Plugins page. No more FileFront.

Also, I'm now with RapidWeaver 3.2 Beta 3 so maybe that bugs can occur.
